Lecture: How to create a great CV and cover letter

On November 10, 2021, AlexandraTothova and Jan Cingel held a lecture titled How to create a great CV and cover letter for within the project „AEEE Youth – Access to Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship for vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian youth in Lebanon„, led by the Bezret Amal Seed Lebanon in partnership with People in Need Slovakia.

The project is reaching 170 students (aged 16-17) in grade 12 of public schools, and 375 university students (aged 19-23) from vulnerable Lebanese and refugee communities living in Lebanon. The main objectives of the project are to 1) enhance students‘ access to higher education and 2) support future job and entrepreneurship opportunities for university students.

Within the presentation, Alexandra Tothova touched upon the structure of the CV and common mistakes that should be avoided. Jan Cingel shared tips and tricks on how to get noticed based on the cover letter. Following the lectures, participants had an opportunity to get feedback on their CV and cover letter.
